Notes: (1) With the reduction of the number of legislators beginning in 2008, the number of proportionate seats was reduced from 41 to 34. (2) I adopt a stricter definition of “union leaders and labor activists” by not including a KMT labor scholar and a DPP ex-labor administrator who were not actively involved in the labor movement. I also disqualify a DPP ex-singer who led a union for entertainers.
